Next, you may receive an online proposal for your approval which will verify details regarding booking fee and payments.

Once confirmed, we will work together as we design your perfect ceremony based on your chosen services.

We offer a variety of accommodations and venues for every wedding budget and size, including beach front settings, beautiful parks, traditional rental halls and restaurants, and luxury resorts.

Simple Signing Ceremony $85
quick and relaxed ceremony using the minimum legal requirements to be married

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required when you book. The balance is due no later than two weeks before the wedding. For weddings taking place within two weeks of booking the full fee is required upon booking. Payments can be made by cash, visa, mastercard, or venmo.

ABOUT ME

Kelley Duffy is a notary public and nondenominational wedding minister. She happily officiates weddings in Hilton Head, Bluffton and throughout the Lowcountry areas. As a natural presenter, leader, and teacher, Kelley brings kindness and mindfulness to all her endeavors. She will gladly work with you to curate a memorable ceremony while accommodating special requests, short-term planning, and inclusive values to ensure your day is special.

APPLYING FOR YOUR SC MARRIAGE LICENSE

You can go to any South Carolina Probate Court to apply for a South Carolina marriage license. When validated, the license is good for anywhere within the state. If you plan to apply for your license in Beaufort County, please consider some important information:

There is a 24-hour waiting period after applying.

Both applicants must apply in person.

Two forms of valid ID are required by each person.

Fees may range based on municipality.

Payments are cash and require exact change.

You must call in advance to set up an appointment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can we personalize our wedding ceremony? Absolutely! I am happy to work with each couple to make your wedding ceremony unique and memorable.

Do you charge travel fees? Travel fees depend on type of services requested and can be negotiated at time of booking.

Do we need witnesses? No. In the state of South Carolina, witnesses need not be present.

Do you attend the wedding rehearsal or reception? I generally do not attend rehearsals or receptions but will make concessions if it is important to the couple.

What is the start time or wedding date changes? Please let me know ASAP and, if the new date and time is available, I will reschedule at no additional charge.

What happens if the wedding is cancelled? In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is nonrefundable.

Do you accommodate short term requests? Of course! If I am available, I will accommodate short term and day of requests, or direct you to other wedding professionals to help.

What about sound for the ceremony? I let the professionals and vendors manage audio and will be happy to coordinate with them on the wedding day.
